Winter 2019/2020 Shipping OptionsIn order to simplify our experience for customers, we have removed the need for customers to purchase heat packs directly and replaced it with an overall Winter Insurance policy. This $4 add on covers up to 6 plants that ship together and is available for purchase on our website alongside an order, but can also be purchased at any point before your order ships. This additional "Winter Insurance" will include a personalized weather check of conditions at your home before we finalize your order and we will include any additional precautions or heat packs that our team deems necessary. Please understand that if our team determines the best thing for your order is to NOT include a heat pack, the insurance fee is non-refundable. Our goal is not to profit off of this, but rather provide a simple way for customers to know we guarantee a healthy plant on arrival despite the weather conditions while also cutting down on the amount of time our staff spends issuing refunds so we can spend more time in the greenhouse working on growing more plants!
Without Winter Insurance: Orders that do not contain the Winter Insurance is meant for people who live in areas where they are certain they will not need a heat pack or special packing due to the climate or simply would not prefer we pack their order any differently. If no insurance is purchased, plants that contain pests/disease upon arrival or are damaged during shipping will be refunded or replaced free of charge. However, this will not cover any damages related to cold.
WITH Winter Insurance: Orders that purchase our Winter Insurance will have our staff manually checking the destination of each Winter Insurance order and ensuring that the proper heat packs, additional packing methods or other precautions are taken to ensure your plant arrives safely despite cold. If Winter Insurance is purchased, plants that sustain damage from shipping INCLUDING from cold/heat related damage, will be refunded or replaced free of charge.All sales, once shipped, are final.
