These beautiful Hoyas are a variegated sport of the Hoya carnosa family with bold white on the edges of the leaves and the flowers that come with this family are incredibly sweet in fragrance. Its thick succulent foliage has dark blue green centers edged in pink or white. New leaves are often a very bright pink and some leaves can be entirely white. Blooms in small round clusters consisting of up to 30 waxy flowers that are white to pink with redcenters. Flowers are very fragrant and smell like chocolate, vanillaand honey. Hoya carnosa are tolerant of light frost, but are happiest when kept above 40F.
~Do Not let Hoya sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.
~Hoya are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
~Do Not remove the peduncles [flower stalks] after your Hoya has finished flowering. Hoya are able to rebloom again & again from the same peduncle!
~Feedregularly duringthe growing season with a low nitrogen fertilizercontaining sufficient amounts of phosphorous and potassium.

My Hoya Carnosa Krimson Queen arrived alive and in great condition considering it traveled to 5 States and back to the State it was intended to be delivered. I know this plant and the other six only lived because of the way Gabriella Plants packed them. I was very shocked and happy when I opened the box, not one piece of soil was out of place. Thank you to the Gabriella Plants staff for their continued dedication to excellence!
Long story short: I ended up with two. Customer service was great and we all did our best to wait out the storm delays of shipping.
Although I wasn't expecting the replacement Hoya she will be loved just the same.
I plan on marrying the two into a pot together since they came from the same place.
