Awesome Hoya hybrid between two very popular species. Very fast growing vining plants!
Hoyas are mostly epiphytic creeping, twining or vining plants that have a vast array of different leaf shapes, sizes, textures & colors! If provided with the desired conditions Hoyas can bloom, their flowers varying widely species-to-species with many different colors, sizes & even scents! Many Hoya develop purple spots, streaks or patches on the leaves as a response to light exposure. This is commonly referred to as sun stress, is completely natural and normal - sometimes the entire leaf can turn various shades of purple/red. This is not disease and is actually a sign that the plant is healthy.
~Do Not let Hoya sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.
~Hoya are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
~Do Not remove the peduncles [flower stalks] after your Hoya has finished flowering. Hoya are able to rebloom again & again from the same peduncle!
~Feedregularly duringthe growing season with a low nitrogen fertilizercontaining sufficient amounts of phosphorous and potassium.
I think I’ve ordered from Gabriella three times. Shipped well, plants look great. This one especially is bigger than expected. I’ve repotted it and it looks like it had been it this pot for a long time.
Oh my, i think this is maybe one of the prettiest plants in my collection to date! It was big enough to be potted up in a self-watering pot after i gave it a week to adapt. I love its symmetry and beautiful leaves. It’s going to be a star here! 🤗
She was so big and healthy. Her roots were coming out of the pot. After a week to adjust I have her a slightly larger pot. I only went up an inch and then used a terracotta pot as a cover pot and gave her a trellis. One thing I noticed was from day 1 her vines grew and moved around. I love Hoyas, those vines seem to show of a personality and watching her try to wrap around everything and all the other plants, including sticking her vine into a moss pole was comical. I am very impressed with the plants I got and hope to visit in person soon as I am not far away. 🙂
I am thrill to receive my first Hoya. I fell in love with them, when I seen other Hoyas at different locations. My daughter has a Hoya Pubicalyx, which I adore
I don't have much experience with hoyas but I couldn't pass this one up. It has now put out a leaf with so much white splashes and I'm so excited to see new leaves like this!
First time ordering from you folks, ordered 7 different Hoyas, received the plants which were very well packaged, no damage at all. Awesome plants, all very healthy and I swear they are growing already. The picture shows all 7 plants looking good! Very happy with your company! Thanks again, and I am sure I will be ordering again soon.
