Hoya juannguoana has shiny bright green recurved leaves with random silver specks that can develop dark green splotches in a camouflage like pattern when grown in bright light. Ivory beige star shaped blooms, up to 50 flowers per umbel with a very strong fragrance that has been described as both fruity and spicy.
Note to customer: some of these are growing in 3" pots and others in 4" pots, however the plants are the same size.
~Do Not let Hoya sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.
~Hoya are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
~Do Not remove the peduncles [flower stalks] after your Hoya has finished flowering. Hoya are able to rebloom again & again from the same peduncle!
~Feedregularly duringthe growing season with a low nitrogen fertilizercontaining sufficient amounts of phosphorous and potassium.
