Euphorbia meloformis is a slow growing, long lived plant that has round green, ribbed, spineless stems that develop purple banding depending on amount of light it receives. Small yellow flowers on long peduncles. Can tolerate moderate shade, for best color and flower production, provide direct sunlight. Ours are greenhouse grown, you need to get them slowly acclimated to full sun or plant may burn. Can produce offsets at the base. Water sparingly during growing season, keep dry in winter. All euphorbias produce a toxic sap that can cause irritation to skin and eyes, it is best to keep away from pets and children.
