Calathea majestica 'White Star' is a captivating variety known for its striking foliage. The large, lance-shaped leaves feature a rich green hue adorned with contrasting white variegation, creating an elegant and intricate pattern. This Calathea, like its counterparts, is appreciated for its ability to fold its leaves upward during the night, adding an engaging dynamic to its appearance. 'White Star' thrives in bright, indirect light and requires consistently moist but not waterlogged soil to maintain its vibrant and ornamental presence.
Probably the most well packed plant I have ever had shipped to me, can tell how much care they have for their plants and what they do. The plant itself was just as high quality and is absolutely beautiful and thriving. Will definitely be looking here first for anything not in my local market in the future. Thank you.
“Celeste” the ‘White Star’ Calathea (yes - I name all my plant babies 🤭), is so cool and magical. Her colors on top are gorgeous and it is so neat to find her leaves moving upwards at night into the “prayer position”.
Just one of the four Calatheas I recently ordered. All four arrived in perfect shape, which was particularly amazing considering they came from Florida to Southern California in the summer heat.
This plant was quite tall!
Beautiful and healthY. I finally got tired of sketchy plants arriving through private sales and searched out some real professional plant sellers ... these guys are the real deal! This nursery is one of my first places to look and I enjoy the weekly updates!
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
We are committed to providing an accessible experience for all customers.
