Ficus come in many different forms from plants with bushy or tree-like habits to creeping vines, & feature a wide range of various colors & textures! Edible Figs are also a type of Ficus!
~Although drought tolerant, do not allow your Ficus to dry out too much. In general, Ficus should be kept slightly moist during the growing season. Water when the top 2" of soil are dry. They do not like wet feet, so if 30 minutes after watering you see water in the saucer, pour it away.
~ Ficus prefer medium to bright light & can even be acclimated to grow in full sun. Do not place in low light areas.
~Do Not place in drafty areas or under/near an air vent. Unless temperature & humidity are high, drafts or cold air may cause Ficus to drop their lower leaves.
I love this plant it arrived super healthy with no damages to its branches. I did repot and it’s adapting to our hot Texas summer weather( I placed in a corner for protection from sun). I will bring in house hopefully I will get to see red cherries in this ficus.
The plant was packed nicely and delivered safely in such hot weather to north California.
The plant is healthy and with few fruits budding from the botom already.
Very happy experience.
I ordered two plants, both of them ficus. I was delighted with the health and quality of both plants, the care with which they were shipped, and the communication from the company. Thanks!
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
We are committed to providing an accessible experience for all customers.
