This new Calathea hybrid has beautiful white and green variegated foliage with purple undersides similar to 'White Fusion' but has a faster growth rate and is able to adapt to lower light conditions!
~Do Not place in full sun or high light. In the wild Marantaceae are tropical forest floor plants. This means they grow best in bright shade to low light conditions.
~Do Not water with tap water that has not been conditioned. Marantaceae are sensitive to metals or excessive nutrients in the water which may cause leaf edges to crisp or burn.
~Make sure to provide moderate to high levels of humidity. If humidity levels are too low [40% or less], leaf edges may crisp or burn.
I was shipped a cactus on the first delivery, I emailed them along with a picture of what was sent. I received a reply the next morning. They said they would ship me the Calathea Stella I ordered. And within a week I received it in perfect condition. It’s beautiful.
The packaging was good as usual. We are still getting use to each other. If I can figure her out everything should be fine. One day she seems to be doing fine and other days not so much. All in all she’s beautiful.
The last of the four Calatheas I ordered recently. All arrived in perfect shape, shipped across the country in the summer heat. Although I can sometimes find some of the more common Calatheas in my local nurseries, they are never in as good as shape, or as healthy, as these.
I'm a little obsessed with Calatheas. And they're pet safe, thankfully, as one of my cats is homicidal when it comes to plants! As a beginner plant hobbyist, I found out too late that Calatheas weren't recommended for beginners...oh well, so far so good.
This came in and it looked amazing for being how hot it was! It was wrapped perfectly and no damage! Honestly best plant I’ve received in the mail by far! Definitely going to shop through them from now on.
One of the most beautiful plants in my collection! My little Stella came perfectly wrapped and in such great condition. There were two small leaves that looked like it was starting to dry out (you can kinda see them in the picture), but they’re at the very bottom and not noticeable at all. She was also already starting to grow new leaves, which was super exciting to see! I will absolutely be purchasing more friends for my Stella from Gabriella Plants!!
She is gorgeous. came with only 2 brown leaves from travel stress. No leaves have fallen or browned since arrival over a week ago. But i’m am terrified to mess with her, she is expensive! i had to repot her because of the gnats in my Llano Carti (shipped with her). So far so good. Thankfully i purchased water conditioner for a struggling spider plant, so when i watered her it was filtered and conditioned. Lets see if she does well.
Stella was going to be a challenge no matter what. She showed up with some yellowing/rust spots on a couple of leaves, and I’ve been trying to save her. But I don’t think that’s any fault of GP. The travels may have stressed her out, and anyone who is into calatheas knows they can be divas! She is larger than I expected which was a treat. Hoping I can save her!
I have been wanting a "Stella " plant so much because I love the two toned leaf! I saw a picture of it with this company so decided to make my first purchase along with another plant. I kept my fingers crossed and I was so delighted when they arrived. Both plants arrived so very well packed and when I unwrapped them they were healthy and so beautiful! I was so happy and they are both still doing well! I will be back for more plants, rest assured! Thank you so much!!
These Calathea Stellas are to die for! They are gorgeous. As always, I am impressed with GP shipping and quality. I purchased 2 plants and potted them together.
Beautiful plant. Loving these colors. Just wish when shipping they would add tape around the gap between the plant and the pot, just to keep the soil in place. Because by the time I received it, there was loose soil on the box and leaves. Unfortunately some of the leaves got damaged because the soil was wet and was on some of the leaves. On picture you can clearly see the brown spots. Just hope it doesn’t ruin my plant. Shipping was fast but did notice there was no fragile sticker or live plant sticker on box. These is my third plant I ordered from you and none had pest, yay.
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
