Hoya clemensiorum develops long, dagger-shaped deep green leaves with prominent dark green veins and dark purple and red accents. Fragrant clusters of reflexed cream-colored star-shaped flowers with plum borders, and a cream corona.
Hoyas are mostly epiphytic creeping, twining or vining plants that have a vast array of different leaf shapes, sizes, textures & colors! If provided with the desired conditions Hoyas can bloom, their flowers varying widely species-to-species with many different colors, sizes & even scents! Many Hoya develop purple spots, streaks or patches on the leaves as a response to light exposure. This is commonly referred to as sun stress, it is completely natural and normal - sometimes the entire leaf can turn various shades of purple/red. This is not disease and is actually a sign that the plant is healthy. Hoya sun stress is generally reversible, the pink, red, or purple swaths/freckles/spots on leaves from bright light is different from sunburn, which causes permanent crispy, white/brown patches. With less light, sun stressed leaves often revert to green, but damaged, burnt spots will not heal - however, the plant can grow new, healthy foliage if conditions are improved gradually.d. This is not disease and is actually a sign that the plant is healthy.
~Do Not let Hoya sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.
~Hoya are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
~Do Not remove the peduncles [flower stalks] after your Hoya has finished flowering. Hoya are able to rebloom again & again from the same peduncle!
~Feedregularly duringthe growing season with a low nitrogen fertilizercontaining sufficient amounts of phosphorous and potassium.
I am so excited 💥. I just open my box; got what I ask for: veinie abs ~ Clemensiorum Hoya
. Over #2 years wish plant; Gabriel Plants was so reasonable & not over priced. Thanks so Gateful.🙏🏽
I expected to get one leaf, but I got a big plant. I am delighted. The plant is healthy and strong, the roots are perfect. The packaging is super. My hoya quickly adapted and started growing. I will buy from you again. Above all praise.
MUCH larger than expected/pictured so it was a nice surprise. It did lost a leaf that was yellow upon arrival but other than that has been doing great.
Plants are so much bigger than expected! I ordered 2 but probably only needed to order 1 because they have twice as many leaves as the ones in the pictures. I've had them for one week and they're acclimating well. No issues with leaves falling off or root rot, which happens to me often when I get Hoyas shipped so I'm very happy!
When I tell you I love this company I mean it, their houseplants never disappoint and the packaging is out of this world. Never a hassle just nice healthy plants every time. Yes I’m a repeat customer and as long as they’re sellers/growers I will keep coming back.
Just what I needed, a long leaf plant. I don’t have anything like it in my collection. That’s another thing about Gabriella’s plants, the stock is always fresh and I see new plants I certainly won’t find at my home depot. Or Lowe’s. I’m a fan for life.
Todo excelente...empaque, tiempo de envío y calidad de planta. Además, la propietaria me sugirió el enviarla después de las fiestas navideñas para proteger la planta, detalle que habla muy bien de ella. Gracias!!!
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
