Monstera as a genus is most widely known for its species deliciosa & adansonii, which both feature fenestrations [natural leaf perforations] as they mature. Monsteras are naturally epiphytic but grow well as houseplants in typical potting media!
~Do Not place in full sun. Though Monstera can be acclimated to full sun, our Monstera have been grown under shaded, greenhouse conditions.
~Monstera are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
~If trying to get Monstera to mature, give them a moss pole or wood board to climb! Make sure to keep the pole or board saturated though so aerial roots can attach & actually climb!
I’m really happy with my Monstera Adansonii plant! The pick up process went really well. The leaves are beautiful and look even better in person. I’m excited to watch it grow. Such a pretty plant and definitely worth it!
Love my wide leaf adansonii! So much prettier than any plants I've seen locally. It has a couple of yellow leaves when I got it, probably due to shipping stress in winter, but the roots are great, it's growing well and thriving.
This arrived, safely packaged with lots of unfurling leaves. I'm considering putting him on a moss pole. For now, he likes it outside under the gazebo with his other friends.
I’ve had a lot of plants shipped to me from various sellers and this was by far the best packaged with the nicest looking plants. All were healthy, full, and surprisingly not a single little critter to be found. I wish there was a larger variety of outdoor plants so I could just make Gabriella my only shop!!
It’s been a pleasure receiving plants from the Gabriella Plants Nursery. The M. Adansonii arrived a little stressed but healthy and has stayed healthy. I’ve gotten two new leaf growths (in less than 2 weeks) since the plant has been in my care. If I can’t find a plant locally, I will continue to purchase from Gabriella Plants.
I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful this plant is or how much I absolutely love it! For years I resisted getting an adansonii - I didn't think they were all that attractive. But I saw a video of a full, huge one and it changed my mind; and now having it in my hands - I can't imagine not having this beauty - should have gotten 2 or 3, lol! Definitely would purchase from Gabriella plants again - beautifully and carefully packed for shipping and in excellent condition on arrival.
Great experience.
My Monstera plant arrived in perfect condition and was shipped quickly. The price for the plant and shipping was very reasonable also.
I would definitely consider doing business here again. 🌿
I got this adorable little guy in the mail last week and the plant appears healthy and happy in my office. Planning to move him into a larger pot with a sphagnum moss pole to climb, and looking forward to seeing new leaves and hopefully more fenestrations!
Shipping is amazing and the plant didn't even have any dirt fall out in the box. Highly recommend these guys every plant I've bought has thrived right out of it's (recyclable!!!!!) packing.
Arrived in beautiful condition! I ordered it in the beginning of March and already had 3 new leaves shoot out. Gabriella’s does not disappoint and is at the top of the list for best nurseries to purchase from!
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
