Jatropha podagrica 'Buddha Belly' forms a bottle shaped caudex that can reach an average of 1' wide. Its large, leathery, dark green leaves with prominent white veins begin to drop in the Fall and starts to grow again in Spring. Bright red flowers attract pollinators. Due to their size, these plants may get pruned back in order to ship, may not arrive in flower as any existent blooms may wilt in transit, but this is their time to grow and produce more blooms given proper conditions so you will see your own show up soon!
Worried about your plants arriving safely in chilly weather? Add this to your order! We highly recommend adding Winter Insurance if your local HIGH temperatures are below 45 degrees in your location or if your order is using UPS Ground as the shipping source, as it will likely pass through colder states on the way.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
We are committed to providing an accessible experience for all customers.
