Mangave 'Jaguar' is an agave hybrid with Manfreda guttata. Fast growing and tight offsetting 2' tall x 3' wide clumps are composed of soft, fleshy, upright olive green denticulate leaves with purple spots that give this plant its “jaguar” impression.
Slender flower stems with manfreda-like flower spikes at maturity that can be snipped off at the base once they've faded and will not affect the health and longevity of the plant as they do with agave. Thrives in full sun but will tolerate some shade throughout the day. Mangave are versatile hybrids that tolerate occassional wet or poorly drained soil, as well as drier conditions. Hardy to low 20’s.
