This plant has grown SO much since I purchased it in late 2019. When it arrived, it arrived perfectly Undamaged. GP very carefully packages their plants. Additionally, I could order from GP with confidence knowing that I live in Michigan and our winter temperatures can be brutal - their winter protection insurance is amazing. While people say that Calatheas can be every tricky plants, I’ve had hardly any trouble with this plant (not many crispy edges etc) - and I’ll chalk that up to GP growing plants with hardier genetics. I know they take pride with growing and putting out the best product.

I don’t think my picture does this plant justice. I expected the variation on this to look similar to the rattlesnake plant only with wider leaves but it is SO much more intricate! The light green areas have tiny dark green veins that are very delicate. I also love that it is a smaller more compact plant (at least for now). This plant was a surprise favorite.
