Hoya blashernaezii is named after plant collector Blas Hernaez, who discovered this hoya at the Island of Catanduanes near Luzon in the Philippines. This easy care hoya has a compact, shrubby growth habit. The foliage is medium green with light green veins, and new growth develops a red tinge when grown in high light. Under ideal conditions will bloom regularly throughout the year with 10-30 cup shaped flowers per umbel on long peduncles.
We believe the cuttings propagated for this batch came from our mother plant Hoya blashernaezzii subsp. siariae, which has dusty rose colored blooms with a dark pink center as seen in last pic.
We grow tens of thousands of plants every single year, but every week, our teams pick out only the BEST from what's now ready to ship so you get the freshest plant possible.
