Purchased 2 of these - and as always, plants were packaged very well, shipped quickly, and arrived in great shape. While one plant does have a lightly damaged leaf, the other has a new leaf coming in. No signs of any other damage or pests, and the size of the plant itself is exactly as shown. If anything, I'm actually impressed with how large of a plant comes in a 4" pot!

I ordered in early January and live on Virginia so with that in addition to shipping delays, I was almost expecting some damage/loss but knew that was a risk going into the purchase. I ordered 4 plants and they all came in absolutely perfect condition and 2 with new growth on them! The packaging was done super well and even came in nursery pots which hasn't happened in every online order I've made with other sellers. Any online plant purchases from now on will only be with Gabriella's!

This lovely plant arrived with almost no damage from shipping... it has a healthy thick stem and good looking roots reaching down into the soil. The newest leaf tip was slightly damaged in shipping but I feel it will do just fine over Time . I look forward to watching it grow big and strong.

I’m very disheartened to be writing this review as I’ve purchased many times from Gabriella’s with perfectly healthy plants, however, the last two orders of mine missed the mark. Big time.
I received both orders today (1/14/2021). Shipping was not extraordinarily long so I’m curious as to what could have happened in-transit. The (unrecognizable) plant in the photo is supposed to be a R. tetrasperma. As you can see, it looks more like boiled spinach. This plant is the worst of my two orders.
The other R. tetrasperma I received in the second order was pretty beat up as well. Black, mushy leaves and petioles, but the base stem seemed to be solid and firm so I am hopeful it will survive.
I also ordered a A. bambino, M. adansonii, and a Jade Pothos. The bambino was also pretty limp looking, with a couple black mushy leaves, but the stem seemed solid enough to make it. The adansonii was heart-wrenching for me. The overall plant was in good condition with the exception of both of the growth points, completely black and mushy.. fml..
The Jade Pothos arrived in the best condition. There was no noticeable damage aside from a few bent leaves.
Overall I am extremely disappointed with both orders. Gabriella’s is one of the few online nurseries I look forward to ordering from because my plants have always arrived fresh and extremely healthy. Idk if it was the move to the new warehouse that caused this overlook in quality assurance, but I am hopeful that this will not happen again and despite this negative experience I will still continue to order from Gabriella’s.
Here is some feedback and observations:
-All of my plants pots are sopping wet, the excess moisture could be what caused the rotting.
-There were no heat packs, this could also be a possibility to damage to the plants.
-I am not sure how long it was in transit for, but maybe, think about offering other couriers such as UPS that customer’s can pay additional for.

Last time I tried getting a Rhaphidophora tetrasperma from another greenhouse, it turned out to be a small plant in a 4 inch plant that was badly damaged from shipping. As soon as I had a chance to get one from Gabriella Plants, I jumped at the chance, knowing that I would be getting a lush, healthy and happy plant for a great price!

Plant was wrapped and shipped well. This plant in particular was more moist than the other one (Micans) it was shipped with. Due to that, the new leaf coming in rotted off but I was able to remove it. This was the only loss on the plant from shipping. No other leaf damage, stem damage, or soil loss!

My rhaphidophara tetrasperma arrive in perfect condition and has not shown any signs of stress. It already has a new leaf after only one week under my care! It is kept in a room with 50-60% humidity close to a NW facing window. I watered it once a few days after arrival. I cannot wait to watch it grow!
